Kids dance classes with The Stage Door Performing Arts

Wednesday mornings during school term.

Let’s dance! Every Wednesday at 10am during school term, The Stage Door Performing Arts hosts a free weekly dance class for pre-schoolers at Bella Vista Pocket Park.

Led by qualified performing arts teachers, these classes are designed for children aged 2 to 5-years-old, helping build coordination, confidence, musicality and early social skills in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Once a month, classes feature a special themed session, encouraging kids (and parents!) to dress up or use the costume box provided on the day – a big hit with regular families.

The Stage Door Café is open during classes for you to purchase barista-made coffee and refreshments in a welcoming spot for parents, carers and grandparents to connect with local families.

Stay a little longer:

On the second Wednesday of each month, parents and carers are invited to stay on after dance class and join Coffee Connections, a women’s wellness and support circle held at the park. You’re welcome to attend just the dance class, just Coffee Connections, or both.

Registration for dance classes is essential. Sign up below to receive updates on scheduling and wet weather information.
